Meet Dauna—

For more than three decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of law and technology—advising Fortune 100 companies, small and midsize businesses, and law firms on complex technology, regulatory, and operational risk. My experience spans cybersecurity, privacy and data protection, AI, blockchain, and digital-asset governance.

My 20-year Wall Street career includes senior managerial roles in the legal departments of Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, and MetLife, where I served as a global subject-matter expert directly supporting each organization’s CLO, CTO, CISO, COO, and CMO.  Across these companies, I led enterprise initiatives integrating intellectual property, advanced information technology, data protection, cybersecurity, outsourcing, and vendor governance into daily operations—aligning operational-risk and regulatory strategy across multiple business lines and jurisdictions. As an adjunct professor, I’ve taught Technology & Legal Ethics, Artificial Intelligence & Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Securities Regulation for Startups at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Northern Illinois University College of Law, and New York Law School, and I lecture frequently on privacy/data protection, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and ethics.

I hold a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an A.B. in Political Science from Brown University, with executive training from Harvard Business School and Smith College. I’m admitted to the New York State bar and have served on multiple nonprofit boards.

As founder of TechTango, I’m dedicated to bridging the gap between law, technology, and human behavior—helping organizations strengthen cyber-resilience, insurer readiness, and operational trust through education and simulation-based training.
